If you’re new to manifesting, your first question may be how to start using the Law of Attraction. Here are a few tips to help you get underway.
How To Start Using the Law of Attraction
Actually, you’ve already started. You’re already using it.
The Law of Attraction states that like attracts like. In other words, you attract things that are in line with your current thoughts, beliefs, and actions.
If you’re usually happy, you tend to find more things in your life to be happy about.
If you see life as a struggle, you end up with more struggles.
But you probably already know that. What you really want to know is how to attract more of the things that you want and get rid of the things that you don’t.
How do you do that?
Decide What You Want
First, you have to decide what you want. Take some time to think about it. What exactly do you want?
Make It Specific
Make it specific enough that you will recognize it when you get it. For example, we’ll start with something easy – a glass of water.
What Need Will It Fill?
Think of why you want it. What need will it fill? What will you get from it that you don’t have now?
You’re thirsty and once you drink the water you’ll feel refreshed and rehydrated. What you really want is to quench your thirst. Now you know what you want and why you want it.
Examine Your Beliefs
The next step is where things can get off track. Is this something that you believe you can have? If it’s something you’ve gotten before, it’s probably very easy to believe that you can get it again. If it’s something new or different, you may not believe it’s possible.
When you’re first starting out with the Law of Attraction, start with something small, something that feels easy and fun. The more you practice, the easier it will get and you’ll soon be able to manifest larger things.
Give yourself a break when you’re first starting out. Choose something easy and fun. Next, start to think about possible ways that you can get it. Ask yourself questions such as how can I get this? What’s the simplest way to do this? Be flexible to the possibilities. Keep in mind why you want it.
Take Action
Take action to get what you want. Perhaps you want a glass of water but all the glasses are dirty. Another option would be to grab a bottle of water from the refrigerator instead. It’s not a glass of water but it will quench your thirst in the same way. If you’re dead set on the glass of water you can always wash one of the glasses. It’s another way to get what you want but it may take a little more effort on your part.
Be open to your options and treat it like a game. Relax with it. Think about why you want it. What do you hope it will bring to your life? Look for other ways to fill that desire and add them to your life, too. This helps to take the pressure off, while at the same time it also shifts your focus to satisfying your desires. This, in turn, helps you attract more of what you want.
When you first start using the Law of Attraction, try this out.
Decide what you want and why. Start small with something fun and easy.
Start thinking of ways you can get it. Ask yourself questions such as “How can I?” or “How do I?”
Take action to get what you want. Be open to your options. Relax and have fun.
After all, it’s the Law of Attraction. By enjoying the process, you’ll attract not only what you want but you’ll also get more things to enjoy.
